Master Class with Sam Pollard, Producer/Director/Editor

Director of award-winning documentaries such as the Eyes on the Prize series(parts V and VI), Marvin Gaye: What’s Going On to his current production, Slavery by Another Name, Sam Pollard has also produced and edited with Spike Lee on When the Levees Broke, and If God is Willing and da Creek Don’t Rise, – and edited such dramatic features as Bamboozled, Girl 6 and Clockers. On top of all this, he is also an editing professor at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Sam will show clips from his works, and talk about how he works – as producer, director and editor. (FREE)
