Another Free Game Event Thursday and Saturday @ NYU Game Center

9 10 2013
Bernie DeKoven is a groundbreaking game designer and writer who has devoted his life to the advocacy of play. His 1978 book, The Well-Played Game, has recently been republished by MIT Press, and is even more relevant today than when it was written. Bernie’s work is about play as a way to personal growth. His ideas look at the places where the lines between players and designers,  between games and life, start to blur.
He is speaking tomorrow – Thursday Oct 10 – at the NYU Game Center at 7pm. He is also leading a not-to-be-missed New Games Workshop on Saturday afternoon. All events are free and open to the public.
