On behalf of the Youth for the Ras Baraka Campaign for Mayor of Newark, NJ, we are currently looking for eager students who will be interested in volunteering and interning on the campaign. Ahmed Gueye and I serve as the college coordinators for the Ras Baraka for mayor campaign. We are currently looking to recruit student volunteers that would be interested in interning with the campaign! This would be a great opportunity to gain professional experience in the political field. Also for African-studies, social work, and sociology majors it would definitely be beneficial to them, as the socio-economic disparities in Newark are so alarming. We are looking for students who are intelligent, energetic, and interested in making a change in the community.
